Is UK Student Visa a Multiple Entry Visa?

A multiple-entry visa, the UK Student Visa enables holders to freely travel to and from the UK throughout the period of their visa.
According to the Home Office's guidelines on student and child student visas, students are permitted to "travel outside of, and re-enter, the UK whilst they hold valid permission as a Student. A single entrance visa only enables the holder to enter the UK once, whereas a multiple entry visa permits repeated trips to and from the UK.
A single-entry visa holder who wants to come back to the UK must apply for a new visa.

You will often be allowed to stay for up to five years if you are over 18 and enrolled in a degree program. In most situations, you can stay for up to two years if your study is below the degree level. The terms and duration of your stay will be disclosed to you when you go to the UK on this visa.

Pre-requisites For 90-day Entries:
You might receive a sticker for your passport or other travel documents if your application for this visa is approved and you are given permission to enter the UK. After acquiring this sticker, you have 90 days to go to the UK before your visa expires. After you arrive in the UK within the allotted 90 days, you must pick up your biometric residence permit (BRP) within 10 days.
Once you arrive in the UK, instructions on how to obtain your permit will be sent. It is advised that you avoid leaving the UK during this time before picking up your BRP since you risk being denied re-entry.
A Temporary Student Visa:
A student who wants to enroll in a short course that qualifies can get a short-term visa. The short-term student visa, often known as the student visitor visa, falls under the general category of visiting visas. If your nation is on the list of those who need a visa and you plan to visit the UK, you must apply for a visa beforehand. This visa is typically valid for six months. Your intended course of study must ensure that you won't go above these limits, and your visa sponsor (often the educational institution) must guarantee this.

Switching to a Permanent Student Visa:
You can change to a student visa from a variety of UK visas. If you possess one of the following visas, you are ineligible to switch:
A leave to enter or remain outside the immigration regulations, a visitor visa, a short-term student visa, a parent of a child student visa, a season worker visa, a domestic worker in a private household visa, or another type of visa.
In addition to proving that you have an acceptable immigration permit, you must also show that you are qualified for a student visa.
